Residential Grants for Wood Pellet Stoves and Boilers
Are you currently building a new home? There has never been a better time to install the Genersys range of renewable energy systems. The Genersys solar water heating system will generate 70% of your annual domestic hot water demand for free, for up to 35 years. In addition, our wood pellet heating systems will heat your home at rates that are up to 40% cheaper than oil.
Not only will the Genersys renewable energy systems save you money in these ways, there are also generous government grants (£400 for solar) and also a government rate rebate incentive programme available through Northern Ireland for new builds that will actually pay for the installation costs of the Genersys solar heating systems and our wood pellet heating system technologies.
Southern Ireland Grants
Sustainable Energy Ireland
Residential grants are available from Sustainable Energy Ireland (www.sei.ie) for Southern Ireland residents. For a typical system installation, Genersys Ireland clients will qualify for €800 of grant aid for a wood-pellet stove, €1,400 of grant aid for a stove with integral backboiler, or €2,500 for Biotech wood pellet boilers which will heat your entire house.

Northern Ireland Grants
Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme
In addition to the above incentives, the UK government is also proposing to pay you a yearly lump sum over a 20 year period for installing Genersys renewable energy technologies. They announced in their October spending review that the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme is to go ahead before April 2011, which could mean you receive a fixed payment from the government each year for the amount of heat energy which your system generates. This welcome move is sure to transform the renewable heating industry from fringe to mainstream, realising drastic reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The majority of houses in Northern Ireland will be eligible for this new scheme, which will cover the main renewable energy technologies. More details are expected to follow soon, and we will post updates on this site. In the meantime, read what Genersys Solar's director Robert Kyriakides thinks of the Renewable Heat Incentive.
Low Carbon Buildings Programme
Residential grants are available for Northern Ireland residents from the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (www.lcbp.co.uk). £600 of grant aid is available for wood-pellet stove systems and £1,500 for wood-pellet boiler systems. Again, please contact Genersys Ireland directly for information on these grants or if you would like assistance with the grant application process.
