Starting from the needs of the end user, the team of engineers at MCZ has developed the new Oyster technology, which captures air used in combustion directly from outside, so that smoke is not emitted into the environment and the climate remains clean and healthy.

Oyster - New for 2010 - Clean technology and high class energy savings

Stoves with Oyster technology have a perfectly airtight structure that means they do not consume oxygen in the internal environment, but take it directly from the outside. Thanks to this feature they can be placed inside all isolated homes (that are highly efficient in terms of energy) and inside passive houses.

The use of this technology ensures a clean, healthy environment because there is no risk of smoke emission into the environment. Thanks to Oyster ventilation grilles are no longer necessary and annoying draughts of cold air disappear. The environment is therefore more comfortable and the overall efficiency of the heating system is not affected.

Comfort Air® - Pleasant warmth throughout your home

Comfort Air® is a special ventilated air system that not only heats but also filters and humidifies air and illuminates the environment. This is a real heating revolution that inspires and creates a true atmosphere of well-being for living spaces in the modern home. The speed and power of the heat combine with clean, humidified air diffused throughout the space, simple design and elements blend harmoniously with their surrounding environment.

Comfort Air® by MCZ is an exclusive patented system that extracts heat produced by a fireplace more efficiently, through an extractor placed on the back of the warm air output diffuser. Compared to traditional systems, Comfort Air® increases heat output in the environment by 30%, making its distribution, which can reach a maximum distance of 8 metres with 60°C output, more rapid and uniform. For rational air distribution you can position the diffusers where you want according to the position of the fireplace and can choose from three models: mono-directional, bi-directional and multi-directional.

The MCZ patent also filters air on entry, drastically reducing the emission of particles into the environment. Inside the mono-directional diffuser there is a water container that vaporises as warm air is emitted, ensuring that the environment is properly humidified. Fragrances and essential oils can be added to the container for a pleasant aromatherapy effect.

Thanks to the essential design, all diffusers fit perfectly into any kind of environment. The mono-directional diffuser is also available with an atmospheric room light that increases the sensation of warmth.

Comfort Air® is easy to install, quiet and needs no maintenance. The air output can be set to 4 power levels, including a "fast" setting for rapid heating. There is also a system that turns off when the temperature drops below the comfort level.


Active® - pellet revolution

The new Active® system, supplied with all our new pellet products, is a system inside the stove that adapts comburent air to the quantity of pellets in the brazier and burns it effectively and efficiently, whatever the type of connection to the flue. The stove itself safely, independently and automatically defines the ideal quantity of air to obtain the best combustion possible. This occurs with any type of pellet, under any installation conditions and with any type of connection to the flue.

Active® is also suitable for those unfamiliar with high-tech devices, thanks to its easy to use remote control and to a versatile and complete timer with pre-set programmes.
